June 29th

The film Still Alice didn't help. Forgetting one word in a lecture was seen as a worrying sign. Not being able to find the right word is a daily occurrence. Walking upstairs and then forgetting why you are there happens all the time. When do such senior moments become a sign if something more significant then age related memory loss? Is it when there is no longer any gaps in between the senior moments?

June 28th 2015

6 days after my 73rd birthday.
I started being worried when after a long days work I arrived back at my local railway station and hailed a taxi. The driver asked for my address and what came out of my mouth was the address for my previous home. I knew it was wrong but couldn't think what the right address was. In the end to make sure I had to check it out on a business card in my wallet.
